Yoga Classes
- Vinyasa: Series of asanas (poses) flowing in conjunction with your breath
- Hatha: Slow-paced stretching with simple breathing exercises, seated meditation, basic yoga asanas (poses) and relaxation techniques to introduce you to yoga
- Yin: Expression of theories derived from Chinese Medicine and Taoism, holding for several minutes relaxing floor postures to stretch and stimulate deep connective "Yin" tissue around the joints. A wonderful complement to dynamic muscular "Yang" yoga practices.
- Power: Emphasis on strength and flexibility. Vigorous and fitness-based approach to vinyasa-style yoga. Are you quite fit and enjoy working out, but not interested in chanting or meditation yoga practices? This class is for you.
- Iyengar: Are you an experienced yogi wanting to refine your body alignment? Are you someone who is meticulous, technical and up for a challenge? Learn the correct way to do each pose and with time, attain perfect poses with consistent practice. Class uses props such as blankets, blocks, straps, pillows, chairs and bolsters to help each student attain ideal alignment.
